Privacy notice
This privacy notice explains how I use your personal information when you visit this website or get in touch, in plain English.
Last updated: 8 October 2026.
Who I am
I'm Daniel Andrews. Daniel Andrews AI & Automation is a trading name of Rafada Tech Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17501534), and I'm its director.
Rafada Tech Ltd is the controller of the personal information described here, which means it decides how your information is used. In this notice, "I", "me" and "my" mean Rafada Tech Ltd, acting through me.
- Email: [email protected]
- Registered office: 97 South Street, Eastbourne, BN21 4LR
This consultancy is separate from the law firm where I'm a partner. The firm has its own privacy notice for its clients.
What I collect and why
| What | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, email, phone number and what you tell me in an enquiry | To reply, arrange a call and give you a price | Steps you've asked me to take before a contract, or my legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries |
| Contact and project details for clients | To carry out the work you've asked for, and invoice for it | Contract |
| Invoices and payment records | To keep business and tax records | Legal obligation |
| Occasional updates by email | To share useful ideas, only if you've asked for them | Consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| The technical details your browser sends when you visit this website, such as your IP address and the page you asked for | To deliver the pages and keep the website secure | My legitimate interest in running a website that works and is safe |
You don't have to give me any information. If you don't, I may not be able to reply or do the work you've asked for. I don't make decisions about you by automated means.
Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and its pages don't load anything from other companies' servers. Cloudflare, which protects the site, may occasionally set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell real visitors apart from automated attacks. That cookie doesn't need your consent, so there's no cookie banner. If that ever changes, I'll update this notice first.
The online discovery interview
Before a first call, I may send you a private link to a short online interview about your business. The page it opens has its own privacy notice, which explains how your answers are used, including that they're sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to choose each next question.
Who I share it with
I don't sell your information. I share it only with services that help me run the business, such as my email provider, my accountant and the companies that host and protect this website (Railway and Cloudflare). They may only use it on my instructions. If any of them store information outside the UK, I make sure there are safeguards recognised by UK law.
During client work, I may see personal information held in your systems. How that's handled is agreed with you in writing before the work starts.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records, invoices and payment records: 6 years after the work ends, for tax and legal reasons.
- Email updates: until you unsubscribe.
- Website logs kept by the host (Railway): up to 30 days, then deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how I use it, and to have it transferred. Where I rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Just email me.
How to complain
If you're unhappy with how I've used your information, please tell me first by email. I'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and reply as soon as I can.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.
